Hilary and Mark are married! Their wedding took place yesterday in downtown Raleigh. While I’m putting together a wedding post for you, here is Hilary in all of her gorgeousness at her bridal session last month in Duke Gardens. You absolutely cannot tell from these photos, but it was a super-hot day! I was sweating buckets, but it didn’t phase Hilary:
Rebecca’s bridal session was photographed at her wedding location, Crenshaw Hall, last month. And, as of last weekend, she’s officially a Mrs., so I can share a few of her portraits.
As Rebecca’s sister Rachel carefully carried Rebecca’s train to keep the pollen (that was coating absolutely everything) from tinting her dress yellow, they chatted about the times they’d played dress-up as girls, waiting for this big day.

Last week’s Love Affair workshop (a photography workshop for women) was a fabulous experience. In addition to all of the ideas brought home for my business, I made some great new friends, who are super-rocking photographers. We also had a celebrity run-in, partying on Thursday night at the W hotel with Adam Lambert–okay, we partied, and he sat around, acting famous and not seeming overly impressed with our dance moves. Sigh.
On to the photography: During a shooting session, I was matched with three other talented photographers, paired with our gorgeous model, Sarah, and given two hours and free reign of downtown Atlanta. Here are the results.

I have one more session from my trip to Kansas: this is my ultra-fabulous younger sister, Kimmy. Her wedding was this past June, but my bridesmaid duties kept me from appropriately documenting her big day, so she agreed to pull her gown out of storage and get dolled up for me. Not only was it f-f-f-freezing outside, it was also extra windy. Brrrrr. Here are a couple of my favorites.
